Fed up with the Bush administration with its anti french sentiment and fed up with the music industry, Christophe Nayel started working with Steve Berson at Total Sonic Media on a new Cd I AM FRENCH under the name of D-XRISTO on Feb 20th 2004! In August 27Th D-XRISTO performed with Edwin Vazquez at the "Each hit and Dye T.V cable show! D-XRISTO went to see 10 DJs with his new demo and performed at Therapy! He also sent his material to WMA Records, Vice Records with a resume,cover letter and a little bottle of jagermeister and other different places including Kingstreet sounds on july 23rd O5! In 2005 D-XRISTO performed with Edwin Vazquez at Carlito's and auditioned at the Iguana in Feb 5th without any sound guy so he gave them his demo and he also auditioned at the China Club on Feb 10th and for a play On August 30th at a theater located at 190 underhill avenue.In Oct 23rd, a painting of him by Griselda Healy was published in the New York Times! In Dec 05 D-XRISTO started working on a 2nd CD HELLO JACK (frenchie's back)! During his career D-XRISTO managed to have his demo played at a loft in Brooklyn, at STONEWALL,at The KNITTING FACTORY,at PALOMA at SUPREME TRADING and even dropped a Cd for Howard Stern! In 2006 D-XRISTO put his music all over the net:Myspace.com,Mycrib.net,Pure volume.com,Beta records.com,Bolt.com,Sonicbids,com,Casting call pro and others! He worked in over 40 films,student,independent and major films including Spider-man 2 and 3,TV projects,commercials,music videos including THE STROKES! D-XRISTO is still working as an Art Model in NYC, as an actor and at the Metropolitan Opera! He is currently working on new songs that will be recorded in the near future!Have you performed in front of an audience?I have to go back to it!
