Dundada
The Dundada Family was founded by G-Dub in 2001. We thrive on good talent and good laughs. We express ourselves through the art of hiphop/soul/alternative music. Most of us are from Oakland, California. Being a group of more than 10 people, we bring our various styles to the table combining to make a sound so unique it makes thousands flock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Dundada Family was founded by G-Dub in 2001.
We started out as 10 dudes hangin out. We then started recording music together thanks to DJ 808, the producer. In a month or so, we had released our first album: Comin for ya. Then by January 2002, we released our second underground album: Party over Here. This is when we were starting to be noticed by many. Then we did collabs, introducing such people as: TJ, Jonathan Smothers, RishaBelle, and Shadow Al. This marked the release of the third album: Chillin, released September 2002. Then we did more collabs introducing such artist as: Eve-lyn, and J-Rizol. That marked the arrival of the 4th Dundada album: We Coming Back On The Scene. Also in the process, we dropped a few solo albums. We also had a long feud with Fresh Inc which ended in early August.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Some of of us do. So far we have only been at parties and graduations.

No doubt 2 Pac, B.I.G., Eminem, Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Limbizkit, and Linkin Park.
