From humble beginnings with only a mic and a tape deck, with nothing to lose and no expectations, the Duce Krew has formed with one purpose in mind, the Love of Music.
With combined knowledge of diverse backgrounds, we have created a new avenue through which we can speak the mind. From different styles, to tight hooks and smooth flows we get it done.
Through good times and the trials of conflict, the Duce Krew has shown...they'll always be Squared Away.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It started off with recording on karaoke machines to freestyling at parties to rhyming with other crews and learning that you can't trust anything anyone throws out at you.
From good friends, to producers saying they have the hottest beats and doppest studios in the land, we found they would turn on us in a second.
While our music got more real, their promises got more fake. Nothing weeds out friends and "connections" like being in the music business.
From starting with nothing and earning everything we've got, to being where we are today, we've learned that the only people that got your back are the people that have been with you since day one.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We rock parties and kick-backs, but like any good musician we spend most of our time honing our craft and busting our asses in the studio.
