In 2005, the trio calling themselves 'Duce Boys' formed in Las Vegas, Nevada. K Roc, D Jon, and Mug Shot, three life long hip-hop enthusiasts from Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, and the Bronx, New York, respectively, virtually landed on the Las Vegas independent music scene. The group was instantly recognized by Grammy Nominated producer Tommy 'Tom Kat' Marolda (Richie Sambora, Kurupt, Nate Dogg) off of the strength of a solo track by D Jon called "Clap Wit Me".
