Duane Johnson aka The Next Level.
Duane is an up and coming Gospel Soul singer from the west coast. His soulful singing all started at an early age, when he was a young boy in the 4th grade. Being a boy of his size he always wanted to be in the NFL (National Football League). Singing was something that he wanted to do, but not as much as playing football. As the years went on, Duane played football and basketball for his middle school and high school. Didn't get to far after that. Some college expierience. Due to injury he was no longer able to play the game he loved.
Being as though hes always had music around him, he fell back on his God givin talent of singing. He started a couple of bands as do most musical hopefuls do, but didnt feel as though he was to be with anyone but himself. Duane started entering contests all over Washington, and Oregon, and was saving the money from his earnings and buying the equipment that was needed to make his singing dream come true. Duane is now a very well known singer/song writer, who is on his way up! He is a smart and intelligent man who knows what it takes to make good music.
Im not in this for the money or the fame. Im in this because I feel that God has givin me the love of music. Music is something that can bring you back to when you were most happy and the most sad. Its what makes the world go round in my mind
Duane still lives on the west coast, and is currently working on his first solo album I GOT NEXT. This is a timeless album that will have the hearts of many souls asking for more. This soul singer has been compared to the likes of Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, Musiq Soulchild, and more. There is almost nothing that he cant do when it comes to bringing the house down and representing for God, so keep an eye out for the future super star.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play anywhere I get invited to. GOD FIRST AND FOREMOST. I can care less what people think of this man, but Michael Jackson is and always will be a huge influence on me. Next would be Boyz II Men (in which I will do a song with them before this is all over with......hopefully). Seal, all of Motown, Brian McKnight, Dave Hollister, P. Diddy (production side of the music). R.Kelly, BB King, Eric Clapton, Whitney Houston.....The list is huge!!!!What equipment do you use?
