D-Skrete

Actually, I'm a solo artist. I was formerly a member of a rap group. I learned a great deal from my former fellow rhymers, for which I am very grateful. However, I feel as though I'm better able to express myself by myself.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I made many a song with "The southside Bunch" as well as with " The Bum Uglys". Since then, I've started working with my present colleagues, "Laboy, Holy ghost, Konstant and Lo-key." They have been most influential in my rebuilding of a new foundation for myself.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've performed at a few small local bars in my area. I absolutely loved the feeling of conveying my emotions to total strangers who nonetheless, embraced what I had to say. Each moment was just as special as the other.
Your musical influences
Naz, Eminem, Mos-Def, Black Thought. I've also been influenced by the unecessary pains which I, as well as many others have been made to endure.
What equipment do you use?
I use my vocal chords and a mic in a little ghetto studio located in Allentown, pa. How's that for D-Skrete?
Anything else?
I originally started writing because I saw no other civilized way to express my angers. After a while, people kept telling me that I could be a rapper. That is why I've gotten as far as I've gotten in this game. So then that would mean that I owe all of those people a big thanks...thanks.
