Dr. Groove is a funk-rock/experimental band bent on changing the music scene for the better. Our nonsensical lyrics and insane instrumentals will blow you away, and we know we have something that you'll like.Band/artist history
Formed in late 2004 by Seth McDuffee, Shawn Hoffman, Billy Little, and Tom Cook under the name "Tom and the Seascape Capers." The name was later changed to Dr. Groove, under which we formed our current fanbase. We played tons of shows and benefits, recorded a demo and an EP, and in early 2006 replaced two members, Shawn and Billy, with Miquel Ford and Ben Nerison. Under this new lineup, we have become a more technical and creative band. Things are really looking up.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live all of the time, wherever shows are available. We love playing live, its what being in a band is all about. Making music and playing shows.
