STATE - Jamie Todd and Scott M2 - live March 2nd, 2005STATE (Scott M2 and Jamie Todd) are best known for their CD release in a 'live microphone' recording which merging electronic textures with the urban soundscape of the street outside and their many live soundscape performances. Scott and Jamie have also been curating (Toronto's long running weekly live ambient music event) as a home for new ambient music growth in the city and a welcoming spot for touring ambient performers from across the continent. Their new CD, STATE's soundscapes from the multimedia installation which was mounted in the Huron District Historic Goal in Goderich, Ontario from August to October 2004.
