Dreamsong
Dreamsong is the work of one man whose influences range from Hawkwind to Ralph McTell.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started writing music in the early 70s after being given my first guitar. Self-taught, I received a lot of encouragement from my older brother who had been playing guitar himself since the mid-60s. Sadly he died of cancer in 1990 so this site is dedicated to his memory.
Your musical influences
Hawkwind & Dave Brock. My brother, who introduced me to the songs of Ralph McTell. My wife, who keeps me on the straight & narrow.
What equipment do you use?
I use an Ibanez G10 electric guitar and a Yamaha accoustic. Recordings are made using Cakewalk Sonar 7.

Please don't confuse me with the band Dreamsongs (with an "s" on the end) - we're not related in any way :-)
