Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Dreams For The Dying is very new. Not much history here at all. I used to play in a Gothic band which was doing quite well until we signed with a big label.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
D4TD is currently a one man band, so no live shows at this stage. Once D4TD becomes a full band, we'll definitely play live. Playing live is as exciting as the song writing process, just on a different level.
Your musical influences
Various metal stuff. Especially the current crop of gothic and symphonic metal, but also Goth stuff and dark ambient music.
What equipment do you use?
Carvin guitars, Laney amps, Marshall quads,Cubase VST 32 multitrack software, FruityLoops sequencing software, Reason, and a few other audio apps. Behringer mics, ESI studio monitors. A very modest, basic setup.
