Introduced to the hip-hop/rap music at a relatively young age , DraMatiQue ( drah*mad*ick ) began writing and performing songs in high school. With a solid catalog of music that continues to receive rave reviews across the nation including a feature in THE SOURCE magazine , several artist of the week features on various websites and publications, and a radio interview on the L.A. WAKE UP SHOW ( Power 106FM ) with Sway. DraMatiQue has also had the opportunity to open for prominent hip-hop acts such as A+, the late Mc Breed ( RIP), Talib Kweli, Mims, WuTang Clan , and Tha Alkaholiks. DraMatiQue has released multiple mixtapes as well as a full length solo album "Millionaire" in 2020.

After a four year hiatus, he returned with a new project; "Throwback Mixtape (The Lost Archive)"...another well received musical gem filled with musical interludes and collaborations with various international artists from around the world. In 2025 , DraMatiQue released the long awaited"Takeova Mixtape". Underscored by 15 remarkable new tracks with memorable collaborations and dynamic production, DraMatiQue cements his legacy as one of hip-hop's most bold and creative artist in an evolving musical landscape.

Creatively rejuvenated and with his music passion reignited while working on his follow up album to "Millionaire", DraMatiQue continues to be an undeniable force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop industry.

DraMatiQue has released two well received mixtapes; Kill The Game Mixtape -hosted by Dj Omega Red & The Burn Mixtape -hosted by DJ Smoke and is currently working on several new projects while also service as C.E.O. of indie hip-hop label..Newborn Records LLC. The highly anticipated debut album " Millionaire " is currently available now on all digital platforms via The Orchard/Sony Music.

Yes I play live as much as possible and I definitely enjoy performing. I have performed live with BenFlowz and we opened for Talib Kweli, A+, The Alkoholiks . I also performed in a showcase with the late MC Breed and Radar Zan from Wu Tang. I have met other major artists such as RZA from Wutang Clan, Dialated Peoples, Digable Planets, etc.. We have also done shows in Toledo, NY, DC, LA, San Franciso, Detroit, Las Vegas, and even at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, California. I recently opened for Mims unexpectedly in San Francisco at Club Sixx

I grew up listening to old Motown records and alot of funk stuff ( like Gap Band ). I was introduced to hip-hop at a young age by my older brother ( R.I.P. ) and I was inspired to become an emcee by artists like Rakim, EPMD, GangStarr, MC Lyte, & LL Cool J.

Pen & paper, CakeWalk Music Studio, Sound Forge 6.0, Cool Edit 2.5 , Acid Pro, Fruity Loops, Reasin, some keyboards, a drum machine, and a couple of REALLY GOOD microphones.
