Dragonfly Dying is a project consisting of two people with a passion for creating music. Writing music has always been a spiritual evolution for both members. Symbolic and relatable lyrics are of strong importance.
Band/artist history
The two have been collaborating together since April of 2004. Jason first heard Kristen singing at a Karaoke night in a local club. She was singing a Melissa Etheridge song so beautifully. Kristen is truly a born singer. Writing music has been a spiritual evolution for both members since their first collaboration entitled "Open Book".

Hey guys, I came from Sams' site. I really enjoyed listening to your music, but I think Losing Eden was my favorite. I took care of people with Alzheimers for quite a while, it's a very sad disease, so it kinda hit home with me. Great vocals too! keep it up...april
Hi Jay and Kristen... Thanks for the kind words. As a matter of fact XTC is a major influence of mine. Andy Partridge is a genius in my book! I also like Squeeze, especially the East Side Story album. I think that your song "Broken" is great! Listening to it, I'm reminded of Richard and Linda Thompson.
