Drago, based in Galesburg, IL, became a full band in Jan. of 2004 as Kris Wingo, Brian Glasgow, Brad Shryack, Tommy Currie, and Kirk Walters. This super-group of local talent continues to dominate the local scene with it's diverse set of covers and an onslaught of original material perfectly blending Progressive Metal, Classic, & Alternative Rock. Whether it's the dueling guitars, the madman on drums, the tight rhythmic styling of the bass, or the passion of the vocals; there's something for everyone at a Drago show. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tommy said let's jam, Brad moved back & brought his guitar & monster shredding, we got Brian & became Drago, Brian quit, we got Free & played a show, Brian came back, we had a pizza, we recorded our demo

Heavily influenced by the old school British metal double guitar attack. Lots of flashy & sweet guitar work, as well as the proverbial thunderous rhythm section, with strong and melodic vocals
