Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Drachen is a modern, aggressive power metal band hailing from the southeastern corner of Texas. "The goal of this band is to create music with as much integrity, intensity and passion as possible and to glorify the author of all Creation in the process," said Drachen founder/bassist Chester Moore. Moore had the idea to form Drachen in 2005 and in early 2006 approached musician friends Jym Evans and Reggie Salas. "I was excited to get involved because the musical and lyrical ideas were fantastic. Once we got together and started writing it was easy to see there was something special going on," Salas said. Drachen's CD, "In the Beginning" is out now via Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster and Amazon.
