Downside Harvest
Hey everyone, my name is Keon and I've been making music for about 2 years now. I live in the valley of LA, California, and am currently a junior in high school. I love music a lot, and have devoted my time to composing and writing it. I have my own unique style and really just make music for me regardless of everyone else. I hope that people will share my intrests and give me some encouragement because I love what I do and I have faith that someday I will become very succesful as a music composer. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I basically started learning piano when I was 14 and I just built off from that buying software and all the equipment that I needed in order to fullfill what I was intrested in doing which was writing music. I started with a metal/screamo style but decided to put the screaming aside and go to a more pop/rock style and work on my voice.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet.
Your musical influences
I have a lot of influences. Music in general is a big influence to me because I just love it ha. Some bands that I think help shape my music are: Blink 182, Saosin, Hellogoodbye,
What equipment do you use?
I use a lot of software; Sonar 6 Producer, Proppelerhead Reason 4.0, Yamaha DGX-205 Keyboard, and a lot of synthesizers.
