Down for the Count

WOWZERS! well it has been a longdiddly do time since i have updated this mofo. Feel free to cruise around this fun little piece of shit page until you get bored.... oh yeah, for all you kids that CARE, if you click on the Dave's Bedroom Records link you will find other AK bands on that label.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Down for the Count was formed in the late days of March, 2002. Now guitarist Dan, guitarist Sheldon, and drummer Walker (yes thats his first name), used to jam together only with dan on bass. Eventually Sheldon stopped coming to the band's "practices" leaving dan and walker to jam together. Dan quickly switched to guitar when he and walker started jamming together. Over a period of about one and a half months, the duo gradually came up with some pretty sweet shizit, and started looking for a bassist for their new "band". Eventually they found Charlie who had only been playing bass for one year, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. After they showed Charlie the material, sheldon came along and rejoined the group. Dan incorperated another guitar into the songs and Down for the Count was born. At the end of that year, Dan moved away to some shitty little town called PA. The remaining guys kept the name and continue to produce their own little brand of pep/punk/funkish rawk stuff.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
