DOWNFALL music
Mind Over All
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Forming in late 2003 in Springfield, MO, five friends from high school got together to play music. We blend different styles of metal and fury to create our sound. We started a three-song demo, with Derrick (bass on demo) then started playing shows at Bugsey Malones in Springfield, MO. After so, we hooked up Tony (formely of Speakeasy) to play bass. We signed to an indie label called Twin Cities Entertainment out of Kansas City to record our ten song debut in December 2005. It was quickly released on February 14th 2006, with great success. We have branched out to playing in the tri-state area in support. This fall, we merged forces with another band called Low-X (drummer and bass player), to create the most solid and professional unit we call DOWNFALL. We are currently playing shows and working on our next album. We have shared the stage with bands such as; Kittie, The Agony Scene, Five Bolt Main, Hypnogaja, Soilent Green, Byzantine, Hell Within, as well as many others. We are here to put Springfield, MO on the map........ Why tip toe through life just to show up safely at death?
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we play shows once a month in our hometown, Springfield, MO., and we play throughout the midwest on most other weekends.
