Doug Wiley
Hi, I'm Doug Wiley. I'm from South Jersey and just recently found out about Soundclick, so I decide to put some songs on here. I have a small home recording studio where I record most of my songs. If you look on my music page you'll see that I like a wide variety of music. I have written a few of my own songs, but I enjoy doing covers as well.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I won a couple of karaoke contest, and sang with a cover band for a short time. I also DJ for a company I started called SoundBite Entertainment. Music is my passion and a big part of my life.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I have but not as much recently as in the past. I love it when the crowd is really into a song.
Your musical influences
The Rolling Stones, Billy joe Royal, David alan Coe, Otis Redding, R Kelly, Kid Rock, Akon and as you can see on my music page. I like the country stuff too. I have a very wide interest and have been influenced by all of them.
What equipment do you use?
Shure SM-58 mics, Wharfedale monitors, Behringer Mixer, and Magix Music Studio 11 for mastering.
