Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
FluiD, born in Willingboro, NJ and still living in New Jerusalem, has put a new twist on beat making and developing a unique style on modern hip-hop. FluiD has taken his talents to Rhode Island and brought everything and more back to Central Jersey. While producing for up-and-coming artist, Siic, he learned new ways to tweak vocal sounds and ressurrected the way pitch stretch is adjusted. After teaching the ropes to Constant in 2002, FluiD inspired the early projects his twin brother endeavored. With no formal training and no one to mentor his progress, he still took his music to a different, and more importantly, an original trademark placed in the ears of his listeners.
In 2002, Constant took his music to TX to make an impact on the south. Unlike FluiD's learning process, Constant has had a vast supporting cast of mentors, management, and artists with knowledge of production. After working 15-18 hour days on his music for a year, his music grew quickly. Two artist have made more of an impact on the production Constant was creating. While deployed in Afghanistan, J.R. Lee (Anonymous) and Tracy Ross helped organized live performances and studio sessions to enhance Constant's versatility as a top notch producer. Doe-Low and Sumecca have inspired the new creations of DBrklyn Studios. Anon, T-Ross, Mecca, and FluiD have helped to create this monster on the keyboards and mix and master.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Constant has performed in many cities in Germany with Tracy Ross (Desert Diamond Productions) and Anonymous (Broken Halo Productions). Future plans for shows featuring Doe-Low, Sumecca, and Tracy Ross are in the working.
