D.O.S was born January 5th 1977 in Bridgetown, Western Australia. Just a few years later his parents would split up, and so the family would relocate to the North Coast, NSW while his father would stay in W.A. Living on the North Coast was different but the family soon adjusted, D.O.S's mother met a man named Ian, who would later become her husband and D.O.S's stepfather and friend. While the family did not have alot in the way of money or materialistic posessions, they lived in a small coastal community and most families were in a similar postion. D.O.S found a love for surfing at an early age and it would consume most of his teen years. He left school at just 15 and decided to return to Western Australia to form a relationship with his father, who had just been released from his most recent stint in prison. Having not had alot of contact with his father since leaving as a child, they spent 18 months getting to know each other and when D.O.S eventually left to return to the North Coast they were closer than when he arrived. It wasn't long after returning home that D.O.S's life would change forever. The loss of his stepfather to a rare and aggressive cancer just three months after being diagnosed was the hardest thing he had gone through, the day Ian passed away was the hardest day of his life, so far............ While trying to come to terms with and understand this massive loss another blow would strike just as devestating as the first. D.O.S's older brother's life would be cut tragically short due to a drug overdose. Now aged 22 and living a very different life to before, D.O.S relocated himself and his girlfriend to Sydney to clear his head and start something new. He always had a love for music and decided it was time to take it a little more seriously now. After growing up listening to a variety of artists and music, Hip Hop would be his outlet.Your musical influences
