Don Thomas
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Born and bred in Croydon (South of London), I first came onto the music scene in 2003 joining the worship band at Emmanuel Church South Croydon playing electric guitar. I began writing songs shortly after that but only started to think seriously about songwriting last year. I also lead worship regularly with my youth group (connexions) and recently started leading worship at a monthly youth event held at Croham Road Baptist church as well. I am still playing electric and acoustic guitar in the evening services at Emmanuel church (please visit www.emmanuelcroydon.org.uk) whilst working on new material for an EP (to be released shortly!).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm just starting out so will be playing live at a few up a coming open mic sessions at christian festivals and other events hopefully.
Your musical influences
