Do nothing Anarchists
AHHH! can you hear the screams off in the distance? Thats right the D.N.A. army is rampageing through the village rocking the small villages to rubble with our sick riffs and catchy yet complex lyrics.so
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The ancient story of D.N.A.
Well, dudes and dudettes it all started off when Joe and Mike were in another band called WUNDEDNEE73. This band was ok but, the lead singer had no vocal talent what so ever. So they said let's start a new band. Mike had gotten Dan from school to play bass for the "new group".
Dan showed up to ONE practice and brought his guitar instead of his bass. Mike decided he was not the one for the band.
One day in school Mike(who we will call MikeA) was leaving the band room in school and he saw a sign posted. The sign read : "Vocalists looking for rest of band , Call James for Details".
Mike copied down the phone number in his lyric book. As he was getting ready to leave the billboard and a strange kid walked up joking about the sign.
He said he had copied the number down so he could call him. James introduced himself as the kid on the billboard and agreed to keep in touch. Joe had asked a friend named Mike (who we will call MikeB) from work if he had wanted to play and he said sure.
So we had James and MikeB over the Friday after the fiasco. They had one practice and all agreed MikeB was an awsome bass player. He seemed too good to be true and was.
He showed up to one practice and that was it. He was never available for any of the other practices due to work or just doing nothing. So MikeA took it upon him self to find a new bass player.
He knew that a friend named Scott had played bass but, not for too long. Mike spoke to him on-line and said "Hey Scott!!!, You still play bass?" He replied with a yes and Mike asked if he wanted to play with the band. After the first week of Scott he decided he had more important things to do.
So we called Mike again and asked him if he wanted to join the band as the bass player again. Mike was not able to come to many of the practices so we got a friend of James's named Alex to play for us. He was asked to leave the band for different reasons and we now had become a trio. We needed James's energy elsewhere so we got Andrew , the old bassist from WundedNee73. It's working out well now and we're tearing it up.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
