My name is Donna Lynn. First and FOREMOST, I want to make something clear about my channel. I am not a singer / songwriter / musician who is trying to become some American Idol or make top 40 hits. I realize that my material is not of that caliber. I've created this channel for self-expression - nothing more, nothing less. By the same token, of course I naturally do hope my music can touch or help those who need it, too. If it's not your cup of tea, that's okay! Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I wrote my first song at eight years of age, and I have always loved acting as well, especially in musical theatre. I dabble in creative writing, and enjoy playing the piano and producing my own music as well.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

Your musical influences
I adhere to a very eclectic variety of influences, from Debbie Gibson Bubble Gum Pop to Tori Amos's style, to Amy Grant, to just one song of Adele's.
What equipment do you use?
piano, synthesizers, myself, sound effect boards - and yes, sometimes the all too familiar "band in a box" but ya know.... ya gotta start somewhere!
Anything else?
For the most part, I consider my music a dark contemporary of sorts. I also write Christian music, children's educational music, and any other type that someone requests except for heavy metal / death metal. Can't do those kind. It's not in me. LOL
