Domicile
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Domicile began in a basement in early 1999. The two founding members, Louie Rice and Mike Knoll, set out to put together a band with a dedication to songwriting and a love of playing live. By the end of that year, Domicile had already independently released its first EP Welcome Home and had started an extensive gigging schedule. Building a name in the local circuit, the following year reared opportunities to play with some of the best Local talent and a few opening slots for National acts. The area response to the band and its music grew as Domicile expanded its territory. Playing in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Y-Town, Erie and all stops in between, Domicile slowly began building a following. Domicile spent 2001 rearranging members and writing new material for their first full length independent CD. Their live performances have grown into a must see for all fans of Metal. The audience response kept the band focused and dedicated while the writing process raged on. Live performances fueled the band to move forward. In 2003 we added Fred Young on vocals and Mike switched to guitar and Joe Innerbrickler stepped in on bass. This added a new aggression to the band. We recorded our new disc in Oct. 03 thru Oct. 04 with Eric Klinger from Pro-Pain. We are releasing "As I Choke on the Ashes" in Dec. 04. The future for Domicile is limitless. History is made minute-by-minute, more to come as it happens.....
