DOIO KAOSOS
Fernando started playing music when he was 4 and has played music for some rock bands and artists as well as composed and produced for tv spots and short films. After a gap, Fernando decided to switch from commercial music to playing music that reflected his inner true self.
Most of the music is composed to be played with small ensembles and piano, and at the moment Fernando plays it all. As an independent musician, Fernando wants your support. Listen to his music and pass it on.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We will try to update this part of the interview... it will take a lot of time :).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes and we love to play live.
you have a little .
...But we also love to work to pictures and special shows, everything is OK when we can realy express our own feelings adapted to the situations.
Your musical influences
Classical music composers like Puccini and Mozart. We admire the capacity of aparent simplicity. Music that realy touchs the heart of simple People, just the same way it touchs the heart of more sofisticated and cultural individuals and small groups.
What equipment do you use?
Along our experience we had the chance of using highend studios and some years ago that was the only chance to get a realy ggod sound, but on those times everything recorded ended up pressed on vinyl. Vinyl has a very good analogic nature, but it lacks dynamics and frequencies bandwith. We realy hope that when 64 bits systems are implanted everywhere, that the sound will revover from the low quality mp3 era. Let us say that the problem sometimes it is not the codec compression in it self, but the excessive use of levels compression+maximization. We think that listening to the real instruments helps a lot to calibrate the most important piece of equipement we have... our ears. The excessive processed audio sound on the speackers, the use of psycho acoustics also did not helped. If we think now that on the top of all that, radios and TVs use heavy audio processing... we can have an idea of what is going on with pure recorded sound...
Anything else?
