Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Raised in the Bronx, NY This Puerto Rican emcee grew into the art known as HIP HOP. Like everyone else in this world D'MENTID comes with a story ,a history his trail and tribulations what shaped him. HIP HOP soon became his primary source to channel out feelings,emotions and thoughts. hip hop SOON fueled this young emcees Thirst for knowledge for his craft as well was for other aspects of life, Along the journey he acquired general knowledge in the Mixing/engineering, Recording/equipment, and Business aspects of the industry ( as well as basic graphic design). In Late 2005 D'MENTID, Tiggz, El Gee, Grime, And Jae B.Came together to form the group & now movement nknown as BLACK MOB INK. The Next is Months were fast paces recording and dropping there first Mixtape independently Entitled "The Unforgiven". The Remainder of the year was full of disappointments & Sour Deals. Before Mid Summer 2006 , BLACK MOB INK Parted Ways with Ex-Member Jae B. The rest of the year was taken as a break and a chance for members to settle personal issues. D'MENTID as well as the rest of BLACK MOB INK continued to plan the Next Move. D'MENTID Plans to drop His Solo Mixtape Mid April 2007 Entitled "Greater Than". Shortly After (Late April) BLACK MOB INK'S Mixtape will Drop Followed By the Reast of the TeamsSolo Projects. In 2007 D'MENTID says he "plans on escaping from the underground" along with the rest of BLACK MOB INK. So keep posted 2007 promises to be a BIG YEAR.
