D Madness is an electronic project that stresses simplicity, groove and atmosphere in short beats and songs. The sound is mainly influenced by Electronic, Dubstep, Industrial, and Drum & Bass music but the style often changes between songs.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
D Madness is Dave Mosicant, who has worked on several different types of projects in the past, from pure-industrial to prog-metal. This project is the culmination of all my experiments in electronic music, in short clips of beats.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Currently D Madness is a studio-only project, any possible live shows would feature snipits of current songs but would mostly be impromptu beat making/mixing.
Your musical influences
Everything I like in electronic music and hip-hop beats I try to incorporate in this project. This includes heavy bass-lines, stylistic and/or heavily effected drum patterns, and an emphasis on simple rhythm and atmosphere.
What equipment do you use?
An array of software synthesizers and programmers, as well as some hardware samplers and live instruments. The equipment changes song to song, if anyone's interested just ask.
