DLYRIK
I am part of a production team and have been writing songs for many years now. My goal is to be the first songwriter to chart on 5 charts all at once. Our abilities range from R&B, Rap, Rock, Country, and Pop. Nothing is too challenging for our team!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Here is a little bit about myself. I also am working on a rap project and rap and sing myself. I have been featured on a Grammy-winning native american hip hop album called Shadowyze and as an entertainer have toured with 69 Boyz/Poison Clan/Clay D/95 South back in 1994 and have opened up as a rapper and singer for artists all the way from Lo Key back in tha day and even for the Charlie Daniels Band. I not only write and arrange R&B and rap, but am versatile and write country and rock as well. My goal is to have hit songs being performed by major lable artists in every genre of music and to have them chart with Billboard all at once! I have been rhyming/singing since I was about 13 and now at 32, after almost 20 years of perfecting my craft, feel I am ready to put my talents out there for the world to see and hear. I do not make tracks myself as of yet because I don't own equipment, but give me a track and the song will be written and ready to record in less than an hour. I am professional and work very fast and well under pressure. I am well-represented by management and have an entertainment attorney as well. I have been burned in the past and now I handle everything professionally and by the book. It's all about the paperwork. I have studied the business of music and one day down the road plan on eventually settling in to an A&R position with a record lable or having my own lable one day. I have performed in front of as many as 10,000 people at once and have done various things from being in "The Waterboy" with Adam Sandler to being on ABC and CBS. I have sang the national anthem for the Orlando Magic as well and have been involved with local charities in the past such as Anthony House for kids. I plan on giving back when I make it. My ultimate goal now for the moment is to network with as many people as I can and get placements with indy and major lables that r seriously releasing product on radio and shipping to record stores and record pools. I am hoping with enough placements to land myself a major publishing deal with any major publishing company that will make the best offer. This music thing is my life. I am married to a former back-up singer for Britney Spears and have a 4 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. They r a big reason I am so motivated, but my love for music is sincere. Well, that is a little bio of myself.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live. My time is mostly spent in the studio writing and producing.
