Born in England, I moved to Houston TX. in the mid 80's. I heard lots of different music styles but it wasn't until I moved to new york that i listened to music. My cousin sean gave me a copy of a tape he'd made that had "rap" on it. I knew a little rap before this but like i said never listened to it. The tape had L.L., sugar hill, cube, T, curtis, all the good old school 80's hip hop. That was it after one listen to both sides of that tape, i've been hip hop ever since. I started spinnin' at 15. My friend nolan and i played our high school dances and house parties. I got turned onto turntablism after seeing dj cash money make a turntable into an instrument. I was blown away by scraches and beat juggling and i knew thats what i wanted to do.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live every chance i get. my most memorable is club nasa.
