DJ X TECH is just me and some friends, who i like to refer to as my producers. they have to put up with listening to every single song i make and tell me wether its good or not, so shout outs to all and you know who you are!!! i started working on music back in 1998 when i found a little drum sequencing program on the internet by accident. once i started putting beats together i wa shooked and couldnt go a day without doing something. my cousin and i found the program together and he is now a famous hip hop artist in europe, (poland to be exact). you can check their music out at www.yezyezyo.pl even if you dont understand the words im sure that you will enjoy the music quality. as for me, everything is starting to move on the right direction finally. the first CD is finished, the website is up www.djxtech.com starting to get calls back from demos sent out and so forth. check out the website and music, im here to help as well, i know what its like to start off at the bottom, so if you would like me to add a link to your site from mine or even create a webpage for you on my site with some of your music and contact info then just get back to me. if you are in the chicago arae and would like to be part of a music video or maybe a joint-collaboration on some music, hit me up as well. laterzBand/artist history
the history is basically in the bio on the top of the page.Have you performed in front of an audience?i have played live. i love it, nothing better than seeing people move to your music. i dont do it much due to time constrictions such as work and family but whenevr i do get out there i bring down the house.
Your musical influences
too many to name. there are some people who only listen to metal, some only rap, some only hip hop. i really appreciate music as a whole. i find influences from everywhere but just to name a few... eminem, prodigy, metallica, megadeath, paul van dyk, paul oakenfold, plastikman, happy hardcore, ludacris, dr dre, snoop dogg, atb, dj keoki, the mighty dub kats, dj r fresh, ozone, astral projection, oasis the list really could go on forever, ive known my whole life that i have a kinship with music, its in my blood and ive always listened to all kinds of music, i myself have even done some hip hop in the past even though my main genre is techno/trance.What equipment do you use?
i use alot... roland, korg, steinberg, acid pro 4.0,
ive even put together a song with fruity loops, if you can beleive that one... sound forge, cd architect so on and so on and so on. most techno/trance artists will know what i use, pretty much the standard equipement for making electronic musicAnything else?
like i said before, if you would like to link to the site or just get some pointers on how to go about getting your music out there, hit me up atjtownrep27's station
