I'm an independent DJ making the music I like to hear. I compiled my first CD in the summer of 2003, and I'm working on another.Band/artist history
I first started composing music at the end of 2001. By the next summer, I had finished the 12 songs on Electrobliss and put them on a CD, but it was only a year later that I remastered them at HeartBeat Studios and made 40 copies. They're all gone now, so the only way you can get the album is to buy it here.
Meanwhile, I'm continuing to work on my next CD, Next Exit. Sixteen songs are planned, four of which will feature vocals.Have you performed in front of an audience?Nope. It's kind of hard to play live when all your music is pre-recorded, no? Nonetheless, when I appeared at a local youth event, I did my best to look like I was playing live. So I guess it isn't impossible...
Your musical influences
I like to think I don't really sound a lot like any famous DJ, but I was largely inspired by songs from Eiffel 65 and Da Rude. Lately I've been listening to some seriously good trance, and I'm trying to emulate DJs like Nu NRG and Will Holland. Currently, all my songs are instrumental (but I'm planning on some vocal songs for Next Exit), and many have a climactic break in the middle--a spot of relative peace in the midst of noise.What equipment do you use?
Just my computer, loaded with ACID Pro 6.Anything else?
