I'm a DJ who recently began to try my hand @ producing (Trance, Hard Trance).
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I began my musical "career" several years ago.
First, learning guitar. A few years later I learned the torment of playing with other musicans in a "band".
I've since gave up on that & then discovered electronic music. Learning to DJ, then producing. I am new to producing my own music, but I am no stranger to writing my own music.
I now know the joy (and at times, agony) of having 100% creative control over my music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've DJ'd a few house parties. Always looking for gigs...
Your musical influences
I like the melodies & "atmospheres" usually found in progressive trance. However, the harder drums, bass of hard trance I love as well.
Musically, I aim to create a careful blend of these two qualities.
What equipment do you use?
I'm running a older version of Cubase SL (1.0) on a emac. using a midi keyboard, no other external equipment.
