Started DJing in 2001 after seeing the world DMC competitions. Totally motivated me to get out there and start juggling beats, scratching samples, making my own sound. The ever-increasing profile of New Zealand hip-hop artists has also been inspirational - check out stuff by P-Money, Sirvere, Mareko and the Decepticons, Scribe, Che Fu, and King Kapisi. Any scratch artists, specially the ones I've seen live - Craze, QBert, J-Rocc, Jazzy J. Ish loads of New Zealand turntablists keepin it real, P-Money (Dirt Records), CXL (Ill Sematics), Manchoo and Mouli had a sick battle at the 2002 ITF.
