DJ Primeminister is a "Scratchtracknologist". one who makes complete, songs with scratches.Band/artist history
Began my Turntablistic journey in 1993 when
I bought my first turntable and mixer. Founded the Enterprise Conglomerate in 1994. Started off as a group to later become a label/movement in 1999. I always felt like I had something to say, but i couldn't rap, so I decided to communicate through my scratch.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've spun @ the infamous St. Andrews hall(The Shelter, Detroit). Plus various parties over the years. But, my favorite moment was cuttin in a cypher with Grandwizard Theodore(inventor of the scratch, and battle champ I-Emerge(5th Platoon) @ the Scratch Academy in New York City.
Your musical influences
My main influences to buy DJ equipment were DJ Premier(Gangstarr), Pete Rock, and DJ Jazzy Jeff(Touch of Jazz). But also the great Turntablists from the 21st Century from Grandwizard Theodore, to Jam Master Jay, to Q-Bert and every body else in between. What equipment do you use?
My trusty MPC 2000, and my Sea of Sounds.Anything else?
I think DJ's are put here to do different things. People tend to think that just cause your a DJ the your suppose to do it all, be King of the radio, then turn around and win a Battle then go over here and make the best beat you ever heard, when it really doesn't work like that. Certain DJs Specialize in certain things.Hi, I`m a Rapper & make a mixtape. I like your Style, your Beatz are very TIGHT! Please contact me at (mcadriano@okay.ms)
