WHO IS DJ MYTH?! Let me tell you...Dj Myth is hands down the youngest techno/drum & bass/rave guru. Hailing straight out of North Chicago,IL. Dj Myth is now currently 19 years old. He spends most of his time in the Windy City itself...Chicago. He commutes everyday to Columbia College where he studies Game Design AS A FULL TIME STUDENT. Dj Myth was born on talent. This guy is an artist, a poet, a writer and public speaker. HOW LONG HAS MUSIC BEEN A PART OF DJ MYTH? Dj Myth has had music in his life forever! His first sound he ever heard was that Prince and The New Power Generation. From then he was obsessed. He was thus trotting the house in his batman pajama's singing Little Red Corvette and Kiss. From then he delve further into the Soul, Reggae, and Rap genre where he was introduced to Tupac Shakur, Bob Marley and Buju Banton, and the late Luther Vandross. All of those being a major inspiration in their own way. As time has passed and 1999 approached he was then delving further into Trance,Techno,Drum & Bass and dj'ing. His first experience with Dj'ing was when he had attended a show where DJ Heavygrinder was spinning. From then on..he knew he had to do the same. SO,WHAT DOES HE DO NOW? Dj Myth does the same stuff most dj's do. He plays for private parties. Enjoys a couple dances at night clubs. Plays @ Night Clubs and hangs out with friends. SO IS HE TOURING ANYTIME SOON? NO.With his second semester starting sept. 6th....he has no time to be touring other places at the time. BUT! he is playing at some events around his area and driving distance. I use some the greatest equipment.
