DJ Murdertek

DJ Murdertek is the side project of Industrial Death Punk bassist Tim Erwin. The songs range from slow moody tunes to in your face blistering guitar work. Always angry and feeling oppresed, Tek's music is a great way to settle down and blow off some steam. Based outta *sigh* Jersey and willing to keep underground techno moving, DJ Murdertek is a must hear. So listen now and vote millions of times ok? Enjoy.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
DJ Murdertek was born out of a temporary hiatus with his first band, Industrial Death Punks. Now that the Death Punks are back on top of things again Murdertek has been incorporated more now than ever. This solo work is a product of expressing the things nobody else can. Anyone can be as angry as I might be, but nobody will twist it into what I can. DJ Murdertek is the real deal and is not planning on disappearing anytime soon. Listen!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I make appearances, but do not currently have a live setup at this time.
Your musical influences
Im told I have a huge Noisex sound, which I like because I've never heard them before in my life. My influences are all over the place...Sypmtom Of Nothing, Ministry, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Static X, Esham, Twiztid, Doors, Black Flag, and Horror Rap to name a small fraction of it.
What equipment do you use?
Damn near everything is created using computer programming. Mixing drum n base, piano work, guitar, bass, a scratch here and there, you never know what will show up next. I can twist a hihat into a saxophone, so listen and enjoy peeps.
Anything else?
Website will be coming soon. But for now to get a feel of powerful music check out IDP (Industrial Death Punks) on the web. Thank you all and be excellent to each other.
