DJ-MR-E
In the summer of 2000. I organized a hundred and twenty guest party in the "Newik Park Hotel" gardens on a budget of three hundred pounds! The turn out was surprising as I only gave out 50 flyers for the event due to equiptment expenses. Around ninety people actually turned up. DJ's included High Rankin, MLS and myself With guest MC's Rush and Sabatini.
The year before that, I was involved in a "Battle of the DJ's" contest at a pub in Palmers Green, London. There were five of us on the list, my mate Alex(DJ Nasty) who signed me up to the competition included. I came away with first place having won on style and technique because I was the only DJ that could scratch. I won fifty pounds in HWV gift vouchers and a Newmark DM1001 chrome mixer.
I was given the opportunity to play on a pirate FM radio station called "Mission FM" in 1997. DJ Nasty and myself used to play a two hour back to back set on afternoon prime time, three until six. Playing mostly Old Skool Drum & Bass but still dropping the occasional hard step tunes aswell. I gained a residency on the station and DJ Nasty and I would take alternate two hour night or day shifts every Tuesdays and Sundays until I moved to Brighton in 2000.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live from time to time if it's something worth doing.
Playing in and around southern United Kingdom I love it!
Most special moment for me was playing in front of a two thousand strong audience on the sea front in Brighton.
