Dj Money
Dj Money started remixing in June 2002, working with another dj by the name of Lil Thommo. His first release was a collaboration album with Thommo called Tha Remixes:Volume 1. His sophmore release is slated to be released in the near future, as it's just getting the final touches put on it. The Dolla Man has recently gotten into producing and has decided to become a full time producer. He has hooked up with the legendary Majin PrizeFighter to form a new group, under a different name.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
June 2002: started remixing with Lil Thommo, released Tha Remixes: Volume 1
Winter/Spring 2003: Death to the Haterz, Money's first solo record, will be released
Some time in 2003: Group project with the originator of Majin PrizeFighter, soon to be titled.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No, unfortunately, not yet. I plan on gettin some turntables soon and possibly trying it.
Your musical influences
2Pac is the biggest influence on me, I like Dr. Dre's style with producing, Timbaland has a good style. I really like Johnny J's stuff, same with QD3. Others, too many to list.
What equipment do you use?
Fruityloops, Internet Audio Mix, Goldwave, Accoustica File Convertor.
