DJ Mike J

I make beats. I deejay. In that order. It's that simple. I've been involved in the music industry in some way, shape, or form off and on for 17 years. I've been involved in retail sales, promotion, artist management, production, engineering, product placement, purchasing, marketing, etc... I first learned to make beats using computers in 1989 while in High School and actually switched to analog AFTER that in '91. I attended college as a sound production major and was educated on a 24 track SSL board with 2 inch tape.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've deejayed a couple of concerts and spoken word events in 2007. In 2005 and 2006 I was the in house deejay for a weekly spoken word/open mic show, deejayed for a few public events and concerts, and did private parties.
