DJ Limitless
Music is an incredible and incredibly multifaceted phenomenon. It escapes into the air and is only heard for just a moment. It wavers in the space around us, disturbing the air to produce sounds that disturbs roommates/neighbours/loved ones. But what is truly can remain for the rest of the listener's life.
However, music is also like the many winds that circle the Earth. Throughout history, a nearly infinite number of sonic gusts, currents, and tempests have swept through every bit of land, sea, and sky that Man's shadow has ever laid upon...Each tonal breeze, just like each person's shadow, different from all the rest...Yet all of these winds share threads of commonality, no matter how apparent or hidden.
As information transfers across the globe much faster than any wind, modern music is not only transferred but also transformed. Not only are the the musician and listener no longer spatially and visually bound to each other, but both can explore the vast universe of music with incredible freedom never known to either before.
As the many threads of commonality found in the music of our planet unite into a harmonious cloth of eternal and limitless beauty, the future of music holds the hope for some of the most exhilirating and profound revelations ever experienced by humanity.
I hope, no matter what the size of my impact, to be part of that.
