We are Kush. We make Hard, Progressive House, Trance, Breakbeat, Vocal Funky House, and anything else we feel like doing. Our studio is based in Northwest England. We are Leo (29) Ben (28) and Sarah Jane (25) Our love of music and freedom to live our lives doing something we enjoy is what keeps us motivated..Bring the noise!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Kush is Leo Stones and Ben Booker, aged 29 and 28 both classically trained pianists, met at college studying music technology. Put their first cd together in 1995, have had a few independent vinyl releases. Ben is now a full time sound engineer ,while Leo has concentrated on building a studio in which they both compose and also hire out to up and coming musicians.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have played live at..'Feel' in Preston,uk... 'Life' in the Isle of Man,uk...'Nice' in Newcastle,uk...'In the mix in Chorley, uk. We don't play live at the moment as we don't see it as a priority, but we're glad to have had the experience of doing so
