Dj Haywire

Haywire aka Paul Johnston is a young dj/producer based in Belfast Northern Ireland. The story goes like this... Got into production in about 2004 making a whole load of euro dance etc until about 2007 where it was packed away to focus on dj'ing. Two years of hard work seen numerous gigs all over the underground NI circuit up until this year where it is all starting to go off! Winner of the NI Oldskool "nuskool" dj of the year see's gigs secured at the planet love festival 09 and the 02 Arena In glasgow to name a few! By name and by nature, his dj'ing style can only be described as haywire! Infusions of the dj'ing bread and butter to frantic cutting, scratching, dancing and general fiasco! 2009 also seen the return of production, bigger, better and filthier than ever! Focusing mainly on house/electro and tech trance, signings came thick and fast with labels like spinnin and lee haslams digital remedy on the case, remixes for Tigran Oganezov going out on detox and such sparked the love of the harder music again! Then came 2010, signed to the worlds no1 hardcore label "Lethal Theory", releases have come thick and fast this year with radio 1 plays and respectable 12" vinyl releases, who knows what 2011 is going to bring!
