DJ Ghost (BX)
I'm just a smalltime producer in the South Bronx. I use Fruity Loops 6.0 and Audacity to create my music. I originally record certain sound through Audacity and then import them to Fruity Loops 6.0 in which I add more textures and drum patterns. My sound is unique, and very distinctive because I may be making a Hip Hop beat but using Raggeaton melodies or Flamenco guitars. I also play guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, recorder and keys. I am currently in a band based in the South Bronx. If you need anything, just ask, and I will be glad to respond.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
DJ Ghost:
First band was Broken Links (2003-2005)
then Broken Links changed into Delayed Reaction (2005-2007) until I became an ex-member of Delayed Reaction due to the end of High School. Now I'm a solo artist, but also forming a new band soon, so watch out. . .
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Sometimes I play live, not often, but I love it when I do.
Your musical influences
I'm more into Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold and other heavy metal bands, but I'm a highly eclectic person, but still, i'm way more into crashing guitars and crazy solos.
What equipment do you use?
Schecter Raider w/ Active Duncan humbuckers running through a Fender Frontman (only amp I can afford at the moment). Effects: Digitech Bass Driver, Boss DS-1, Digitech Metal-Master.
