Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, besides DJing for WRSU & WRNU, I do a lot of live gigs in the New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia Metropolitian areas and GREATLY enjoy it. Some of the places I've done sets at are SOBS, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Club Platinum, Rebar Lounge, Bowery Poetry Club, D'Palace in New Jersey and New York. I've done sets that have ranged from hip-hop (commercial & underground), breakbeats, funk, acid jazz, soul house and classics (70s, 80s soul, hip-hop and disco).
Some special moments have included being a regular DJ of Hank Shocklee's (of Public Enemy Bomb Squad producing fame) monthly event in NYC, Ladies on the Mic.

Hip-Hop @ it's finest!!
Anything else?
IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR MUSIC ARTISTS: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't openly cop an attitude (especially over something stupid) with a radio DJ - most people are mature enough to appreciate good music over the person and to do the right thing, but it's a thin line between hooking an artist up w/ some exposure and telling them to f*** off since their stank attitude (in terms of EVERYTHING - radio play, hooking up w/ other DJs and gigs, etc.).
Feel free to hit me up on the e-mail at djfusion@ureach.com or via AOL IM at djfusion9 w/ comments, etc. :)
