Describing himself as a "visionary" of Atlanta's new south, Farid's (fareed's) coveted gangsta/krunk style of production stems from the streets of the south and midwest. Raised in Detroit in the 80's, this young writer/producer/dj combines his turntablism, keyboarding, and sampling skills to fuse hip-hop, classical, and world musics. Though some would describe him as a novice, Farid views his 5 years of experience as a way to stay open to new styles and techniques which in his words are the "only way to do it".
