yo, i don't know if you check your board but i was looking at a very old soundclick site of mine where i had some beats up, circa 2001, under the name Ziggy Stardust (soundclick.com/ziggystardust).
I had no idea really what I was doing at the time (in the grand scheme, i still don't) but you were the only person on the message board who posted something honest. everyone else said something along the lines of "your sh*** is tight, yadda yadda, check out my site, blah, blah". I just wanted to show some respect for your honest criticism back in the day. much appreciated. peace and be well.

some nice ish here. a little bit too much of pete rock cookie cutter jazz beats but strong nonetheless. oddly, i never would've come here if you didn't diss my sh*** on my beats page (which mind you was the first sh*** i ever made and on fruity loops nonetheless). But yeah, all hating aside, you got a good ear for music. keep doing your thing.

i like how you sample ... i do it in the same manner ... where do you got those atmospheric strings from? sampled or sytnhies?
