How We Gonna be a Company with 'NO NAME'? It's amazing how a teenage hobby can turn into a Hip Hop/R&B musical (or maybe music doesn't have to be here?) movement. -- type="text/css" body background-image:url(http://www.knownaim.net/djednice/cracked_flim.gif); background-position:Center Center; background-attachment:fixed; background-repeat:repeat;

About KnowNaim Entertainment How We Gonna be a Company with 'NO NAME'? It's amazing how a teenage hobby can turn into a Hip Hop/R&B movement. Something special began in 1994 when three friends who were getting started in the DJ business, in the ice cold city of Buffalo, decided to pool their resources & work together for a common goal; Make Good Music & rock parties all night long! Ed Nice (Then known as DJ Shifftee), Cyrus Phantasm, & DJ Droopist decided to start working together collectively, the 3 of them spent days trying to decide what they should call themselves. Unable to figure out a catchy yet functional name, CP (Cyrus Phantasm) said "how we gonna be a group with NO NAME" & Bingo!!! With a little phonetic tinkering, KnowNaim (No Name) Entertainment was born. The DJ scene in Buffalo was pretty bleak in 1994. KnowNaim wanted to change that. We quickly became known around Buffalo as the go-to when you needed to throw an off the hook party. As time went on, the hard grinding nature of KnowNaim paid off in 1999. With regular bookings & lots of cash flow, KnowNaim saw its roster of resident DJs go from 3 (the founders) to 10 (DJ Bassline, DJ Bobb, DJ Bear, DJ Ed Nice, Cyrus Phantasm, Da Droopist, DJ Rukus, DJ Lowedowne, DJ SAS, & DJ Nina). Now that's ten fully trained, extremely knowledgeable DJs that can rock any crowd in any kind of scene. With a record & CD collection so expansive to allow multiple events to be performed on the same night, KnowNaims success & recognition soared thru the roof in & around the local area. Members of KnowNaim found themselves DJ'ing all over Western NY, Southern Ontario, & Northern Ohio; In cities like Niagara Falls, Toronto, Rochester, & Cleveland, just to name a few. If 1999 was KnowNaim's best year, then 2001 had to be KnowNaim's worst year. As the song says "Mo Money, Mo Problems. Various disagreements, infighting & general internal strife between the members, caused KnowNaims dismantling in February 2001. All the members went their own separate ways; most went on to have successful "solo" careers. Over the next four years, KnowNaim Entertainment was just that, No Name. Once or twice, a few of the ex members spoke about getting things started, but each & every time nothing had come from it. Sick & tired of watching the Buffalo music scene decay due to predictable & un-original producers & DJ's now flooding the market, Ed Nice, Bassline & new member Dark-N-LuvLee decided it was time to get off the sidelines & do something about it. February 2005 saw the rebirth of KnowNaim Entertainment. With a different outlook, new management & an attainable goal in the music business, along with reclaiming its place as a premier DJ crew, KnowNaim is becoming a leader in Event Planning, Entertainment Management, Street Marketing & Promotions. Signing a few Joint Venture Collaboration Agreements with J. Warren & Cyrus Phantasm of EXE Records; Jac Rip of Baby Mob Entertainment; & DJ Bear of BaileyStyle Productions has positioned KnowNaim to be able to also expand into the world of music production & recording studio management. Now that these companies have connected, we're ready for war in 2005 & beyond. KnowNaim Entertainment, EXE Records, BabyMob Entertainment, & BaileyStyle Productions; With Us or Against Us, We All We Got!!!
