Im dj Crop_Duster I dont really think my music fits into one genre, it could be techno trance, classical, just whatever I happen to be in the mood to make. When I feel creative,or shut out, or just bored even, i make music. This is what comes out...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As for me, i played guitar for 4 years,and began to feel like just playing guitar wasnt enough of an outlet, i needed more involvment in the music and the overall sound. 2 years ago i got the MTV music generator for the playstation, and i have been making electronic music ever since. Now that i have more "instruments" to work with.. Acid Pro 4.0, Sk-1, and Drum Machine, different synthesisers, and whatnot, i have been able to make music more personal, and more original.
January 1st of this year i decided it was time to do somthing with all that music i had built up over the years and make a record. so here i am.. take it for what its worth.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I intend to play live, one day.... im sure it will rock!
Your musical influences
As far as musical influences go, id say Moby definately, The Chemical Brothers, RadioHead, and a little Oakenfold, not saying i neccessarily sound like them... Other Influences as far as pushing me to pursue musical quality would definatly be Modest Mouse, Mindless Self Indulgence, Outkast, and more Modest Mouse, haha
