Hello to anyone out there listening :) I've been making tunes+djing since i was about 17. I used to almost exclusively listen to heavy metal, until i heard jungle[which i totally loved for its throbbing bass and mental beats]. A very good friend of mine introduced me to cubase and i got quite heavily into making jungle tunes and some other stuff to fill time when i had a bit of writers block goin on. After a while of trying fruityloops out i gradually phased out using cubase-all though some of my early unfinished tunes only play through cubase. After the odd serious problem with my pc and me stupidly not backing things up, i lost quite a lot of material. I have had one of my tunes played on the Get104 drum n bass radio show in Bangkok,Thailand[hosted by Dj Mongkhorn]-but apart from that have not sent out any demos in a long time. I've also been playing guitar for about 15 yrs and am considering making some industrial,or at least using my guitar in conjunction with my pc software for a few tunes to see how it goes. Anyhow, feel free to have a listen to whats there and see what you think ;)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live at the moment-i used to dj at The Arts Centre in York-which was an absolute buzz-great people used to go there and many good times were had.I used to love scratching and everyone going nuts-i'd really like to get my tunes onto vinyl and then play out again.
Your musical influences
DnB artists who've inspired me include dj ss,kenny ken,ray keith,dj hype, bryan gee, dillinja, brockie and aphrodite... i don't know if the influences of these people can be heard in my music ,but i dig their stuff the most. Although it wont be heard in my music i'm also heavily inspired/influenced by metal-i guess i just love the extremes of music. Favourite metal groups include Pantera,Damageplan,Slayer and Death. ***R.I.P Dimebag***
What equipment do you use?
Mostly fruityloops+soundforge,I also love to jam on my Dean MLF,but haven't yet incorporated it into my music.
