Divine Flava Records is the record label with the dream to impact the world with its music. We will be dedicated to putting out the tightest variety of hip hop music the world has ever seen. We have several artist with all different flavors that will appeal to anyone in the hip hop culture. We have eastcoast, westcoast, dirtysouth, midwest and many other hip-hop styles to come on our label. We are striving to be the hottest Gospel Hip-Hop Label in the world. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Divine Flava Records was founded in May of 2000 by CEO & President Michael "MVP" Kennedy. In August of 2000 MVP began working on its first release for the new upstart label. In October of 2001 after signing its first distribution deal with GrapeTree Records, DFR released its first release nationally. Since 2001 DFR has signed several artist and has succesfully released a 10 albums to date. The label has gone from an upstart business to the hottest Gospel Rap label in the world.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play all over the country. Traveling city after city impacting the world with our music is awesome and we love doing it. We have performed in schools, clubs, churches, rec centers, detention centers, auditoriums, and such.
